You’ll only see the “session timed out” message if you’ve been inactive.
If you’re actively working on a lesson or practice test, the system will never log you out. But if you start a test and then take a break longer than 45 minutes, the system will log you out.
Before your session ends, you’ll see a message on the screen asking: “Are you still there?” Just click Yes to stay logged in.
It works the same way with the real GED test–stay active and your session stays open, but a long break will end it.
Quick summary:
- You only get logged out if you’re inactive.
- Breaks longer than 45 minutes will end your session.
- Before logout, you’ll see: “Are you still there?” — click Yes to stay.
- Works the same way as the real GED test.
