A video says “Sorry. Because of its privacy settings, this video cannot be played here.” What should I do?

If you see this message, try the steps below:

1. Check the URL in your browser
Onsego30 videos can only play on our secure domain.
Make sure you’re logged in at: app.onsego.com. Onsego30 is part of the Onsego GED Prep System.
If not, log out and go to https://app.onsego.com to log in again.

2. Clear your browser cache (Google Chrome)

Click the three dots in the top-right corner

Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data

Select “All time” as the time range

Check “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files”

Click Clear data

3. Try a different browser
Use Firefox, Edge, or Safari if Chrome isn’t working. Some browser settings may block video playback.

4. Enable all cookies (Chrome)

Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data

Choose Allow all cookies

5. Disable browser extensions
Privacy or ad-blocking extensions (like uBlock, DuckDuckGo, or Ghostery) may block videos. Try disabling them temporarily.

6. Update your browser
An outdated browser might not support video playback. Make sure you’re using the latest version.
