How many times can I take the GED test

In general, there are no restrictions on how many times you can take the GED® test. However, most states allow you two retakes (so three attempts in total) within 12 months, after which you need to wait 60 days.

Retakes for failed exams are usually discounted. Here you can check the rules in your state.
